Our food tours are of three of the city’s neighborhoods: Duomo and Historic Center, Brera/Isola/Garibaldi and Navigli. We can also customize tours to meet your specific needs. Each tour offers three hours of comestible and cultural encounters with culinary artisans who will reveal some (but not all!) of the tricks of their trades. Tours start at 95 euro per person and the price is inclusive of tastings.
Historic Center: The Duomo is the city’s most distinct landmark, standing tall and proud in the Historic Center. Although the must-see sights in this neighborhood do mean that tourist traps abound, there certainly are good eats to be found among them! From an old-school pasticceria to a storied gourmet market to sipping a classic bitter Italian aperitif, sample delightful provisions that encompass historic gastronomic traditions, while taking in some of the city’s most profound historical sights along the way.
Brera/Isola/Garibaldi: This tour marries one of the most charming, storied neighborhoods, the Brera, a century-long gathering hole for artists, writers and intellectuals with the Isola/Garibaldi neighborhood, the heart of the Porta Nuova initiative. The tour encompasses the city’s quintessential juxtaposition of the contemporary with the classic, both architecturally and gastronomically.
Navigli: What remains of a 900-year-old canal system serves as the backdrop for one of Milan’s most lively and beloved districts. From traditional Italian confections to a brilliant market to the city’s best cup of coffee, you will eat and sip our way along the canals while you see Roman ruins, hidden corners full of history, the newest street-food market and stop at one of the most elegant pastry shops in town.
